When burdens are too heavy, where do you turn? What can you do?
Are you struggling with a lack of energy?
Does your spirit say, “Yes!”
But your body cries, “No way!”
Are you tired of trying? We all carry burdens God never intended for us to carry. But the One who never grows tired or weary knows our limitations. When your burdens are too heavy and you’re tired of trying, discover your faithful Father’s heart. Listen to what He may be speaking to you:
“My strength will be yours. Not only will I give you rest when you wait on Me; but I will also recharge your batteries, refresh your body and spirit, and renew your passion to say in the race. Some days you will feel tired–tired of trying, running, or falling. Tired of struggling to keep up. Those are the times you especially need Me. As you cast all your cares, weariness, and weaknesses on Me, I will overhaul your body, mind, and spirit. I will breathe new life into you if you will only ask.”¹
Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom (Isaiah 40:28 NIV).
And read one of His promises to you:
But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] Will gain new strength and renew their power; They will lift up their wings [and rise up close to God] like eagles [rising toward the sun];
They will run and not become weary, They will walk and not grow tired (Isaiah 40:31 AMP).
And He has so many more promises waiting for you!
