We’ve talked about waiting on God in other blogs. But when does God wait on us? When does He answer prayer? Is there ever a time in our lives when God wants us to get off our knees and get up on our feet? When is God waiting on you to get your feet moving?
Is God Waiting on You?
In your comments and notes to me, many of you have indicated that you, too, experience times when you are waiting on God, and other seasons where it seems God is waiting on you. God speaks individually to us about situations about that. But may I offer a short, personal prayer for you if that’s where you are?
My Personal Prayer for You
Lord Jesus, help us to know You better, day after day. We long for that deep intimacy with You. Show us what to do in the seasons when we’re waiting on You to act, and help us to honor You in each situation. Teach us what You want us to know, and help us to grow–more in love with You in the process. Help us to be faithful to leave ample “knee prints” seeking Your face for our lives and our world, and asking for wisdom on how to make each day–and each experience–count for you. But Lord, show us those times as well when You want us to get off our knees in faith and onto our feet, moving in the path You have already paved for us. We’re helpless without You. Put Your finger on any areas of our lives that need changing, and help us to be honest enough to agree with you–and do something about it. With You, God, nothing is impossible!
Day-votedly Yours,
Rebecca
