Millions of viewers watched the recent solar eclipse through special glasses. Curious seekers drove for miles to see this rare phenomena that brought total darkness for less than three minutes. Only those living in a certain area were able to see the full eclipse of the sun, but it was a sight they won’t soon forget.
But there is one Light that can never be eclipsed. He came into the world to bring light, but those living in darkness couldn’t see it. He is the trueLight of the world. And His Light is available for all to see with special spiritual eyes. His light leads to life–full, purposeful, and eternal.
Jesus, the True Light of the World
Jesus is the True Light of the world. And nothing, absolutely nothing, can ever eclipse or extinguish His radiance. He invites all to see Him, to know Him, and to enjoy Him, no matter where they live.
“I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life” (John 8:12. TLB).
