What is God like? If you were to ask others that question, you would obviously receive an assortment of ideas and images. While no one can accurately describe God, one thing you can be certain of: love is at the center of all of God’s activity.
During this Christmas season, spend some extra time in God’s Word. Research His names and attributes. He is beyond description!
For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that anyone who believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16, TLB)
My Personal Prayer for You
Father God, how could we possibly describe You adequately? We reverence Your name. We praise you, God, for You are indeed worthy of honor and praise. Thank You for all that Your name–Your names–mean. And thank You most of all that love is at the center of Who You are. Help us to make this Christmas season the most treasured one of all as we celebrate the birth of Your Son, Jesus.
