A mother’s hands tell a story. The picture above shows my mother’s hands on her 90th birthday. She was a skilled musician, and her amazing hands filled her home with music even in the last years of her life. Six words that described her hands: Youthful, Busy, Talented, Serving, Caring, Generous.
A Mother’s Hands…
reach out to bless her children and
reach up to praise the Lord.
They’re always loving, often praying, and
ever giving more than she keeps for herself.
A mother’s hands may tire,
but they never expire in their efforts
to do good for those she loves.
A mother’s hands may age,
But her influence lasts forever.

Mom’s hands are still now, but we still hear her songs through home recorded CD’s. I’m sure heaven is hearing them now as well. We miss you, Mom.

My Personal Prayer for You
Lord, bless every mother and grandmother’s hands so that they can extend Your love to all within their reach. May their hands always be serving, loving, sharing, and praying. Use the influence of their hearts and hands to touch others in ways only You can design. May their hands never tire from doing good.
